Mindfulness & Meditation

Cognitive coherence is a right not a luxury and the workplace cannot compromise the wellbeing of the mind nor the person for any reason. Abuse, as we all know, is a criminal offence and more and more workplaces are embracing mindfulness and meditative practises to not only teach how to manage emotions in order to build healthy relationships but also to help tap into inspiration through a receptive mind. Connecting the mind to the breath or to the heart is how coherence is established and I can offer a variety of choices to suit each organization and purpose. Smiling happy people are normal and health is generated by intentional practises that heal and to heal means "to make happy".

Chair Yoga & Gentle Floor Yoga

Yoga means to unite. Through gentle movements married with the breath, people nourish the circulatory system and also transport nutrients to impoverished cells in the body. Chair Yoga is a simple practise that can be done during breaks in meetings or as a pre or post 45 minute practise that can energize or rejuvenate.

Floor Yoga is meant for every type of body and all teachers can adapt the poses to suit the individual based on their body type. Yoga teachers don't judge bodies but see where healing is needed and apply attention through intention to heal. It certainly can be a reverent spiritual practise but in truth life is spiritual because we are Human Beings and the Being aspect of us is very conscious and aware as we go through the practise of Yoga which heals the mind/body.

Mind/Body Constitution Quiz

Ayurveda is a 5000 year old system of health that looks closely at how each mind/body has a particular constitution. This quiz offers incredible insight into each persons particular make up and when people are out of balance, it offers solutions as to how to restore the balance. For example a Pitta constitution is fire and water and when a Pitta person is out of balance, they experience combustion and the best solution is to become more playful and also nourish themselves with relaxing activity and sounds.
